How to set up a remote desktop connection
Nowadays, everything is doneon computers, computers in a
form of laptop, tablets, desktop
and more. It is obvious that you
aren’t much aware of the latest
technology and you get stuck
somewhere on it, you need
someone’s help who is not
around you. What do you do?
Well, the computer has created
a solution for that too which is
through remote desktop
connection, this helps you
connect to other PC’s and let
others access your PC. It is for
sure secure, no one can really
access your computer without
your permission but for that
you have to follow some steps
which can keep your privacy.
There are several ways to
establish remote control I will
mention three of them
1. Through Google remote
desktop application
2. Windows built in feature for
remote desktop
3. TeamViewer Software
Now I will mention steps how
to set them up on your PC’s.
Google has released its own
remote desktop application for
the people to access each other
PC’s in the time when they
need to figure out what is
going on with their PC’s or
where ever they are finding
trouble. This lets another
person access your system just
by sitting at their home. You
can have an access of this app
through Google Chrome, it
works on windows, Linux, MAC
OS, and you just need to have
Google Chrome browser on
your system to run this
application. As you open the
app on Google Chrome, it
provides you with a code, which
you give to the person who
wants to access your system.
The other person enters the
code on the same application
and he/she can access your PC
without any trouble and you
can share screens with each
other
.
The other way to let others
access your PC is through
Windows built in feature of
remote desktop. For this you
have to follow these steps
mentioned below:
Go to start menu, and open
control panel > system and
security
On the left side under Control
Panel home , select remote
settings
That pops a dialogue box; make
sure the tab “remote” is
opened
Check the box saying “allow
remote assistance connections
to this computer” and press
okay.
The third way to access each
other PC’s is through
Teamviewer software.
Go to Filehippo.com and
download latest version of
Teamviewer
As it download, follow the
instructions on it which are very
simple and lets you finish the
process easily.
As you set it up on your system,
you create an account on
Teamviewer; it gives you an
account username and a
password.
This software needs to be
downloaded with the other
person who wants to access
your computer as well. You give
your id and password to the
other user and you both can
share screens. This works with
internet connection available
for both users.
Remote control settings are like
using someone else’s computer
sitting at your home. As you
move mouse on your screen,
the mouse is moved on their
screens as well, you can access
their whole computer just by
remote settings. It has made
people life easier and
convenient. By this way you
don’t have to worry about not
fixing any problem with your
PC’s. Any of the ways
mentioned above could be used
for remote control access and
will surely work if steps
followed efficiently....
